FAQ

Q. What is the difference between an open netlabel and a normal netlabel?
A. In a nutshell it refers to how the submissions are handled. Conventional netlabels have submissions sent to them privately. Whereas at faturenet the submissions library is publicly open for people to explore.

Q. How can I submit one of my tracks for a label release?
A. You have to agree to the "Label release consent" question. Then, just submit your track normally and if we like it, it will get considered.

Q. Am I bound to your label as an artist?
A. No. You are only considered a label artist if you are on a label release and no legal contract binds you.

Q. What is the creative commons licence and how does it affect my music?
A. The creative commons licence we use is CC-BY-NC-ND 3.0 and you can read about it here

Q. Can I use the music in your label releases commercially (I.E. Where assets are accumulated)?
A. No. Unless consent is given by the artist involved. In any case you should contact us or the artist directly.

Q. How can I help promote faturenet?
A. There are many ways.

Q. I no longer want to be part of a label release, how do I get my track(s) removed?
A. Contact us and we will alter the release to exclude your given track.

Q. I no longer want to be part of faturenet, how do I delete my account?
A. Contact us and we will purge your account as soon as possible.
